Caramel Toffee Cheesecake BarsDesserts
16 servings Crust: 1 cup graham cracker crumbs* 2 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons Crystal Farms® butter, melted
Filling:2 packages (8 ounces) Crystal Farms® cream cheese, softened 1/3 cup sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour 3 tablespoons English toffee bits
Cooking DirectionsHeat oven to 350° F. Spray 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Stir together all crust ingredients until well mixed. Press firmly onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 8 minutes. Meanwhile, combine cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar in medium bowl. Beat together, scrapping bowl often, until mixture is smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix until smooth. Spoon filling on top of baked crust. Stir together caramel topping and flour in small bowl. Drop spoonfuls of caramel mixture over filling. Pull knife through filling to create marble effect. Sprinkle top with toffee chips. Bake 26 to 30 minutes or until cheesecake is set. Cool completely. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
* Tip: Place 6 whole graham crackers in resealable plastic bag. Using rolling pin, roll until crackers are fine crumbs.
